Implementation - Sage Software

ACI Consulting is one of handful of system integrators that offers a guaranteed successful implementation.  We can do this because we have provided hundreds of systems to satisfied customers.

We are also honest.  Studies show that distribution businesses should spend $ for $ (service to software) for a complete implementation (manufacturing is 1.50 to 1).  Be wary of the integrator who says you can be up and live with very little money.

Our proven guaranteed successful implementation includes the following steps:

Phase I - Implementation Planning and Process Design
The purpose of this meeting is to transition from the Sales process to the Implementation process. This meeting will typically last about 2-6 hours in length. Our goal is to review our methodology to ensure a successful implementation, create the project plan with the client, and assign roles, tasks, and responsibilities. We will also set deadlines and milestones of the implementation.  We will then proceed to have several meetings or discussions resulting in a finished deliverable that acts as a road map for the project.

Phase II - Installation
Here we will install the software and setup a test company.  We will set up all workstations, test printing and install any bundled software.  At previous meetings, we will have ensured that the network is ready for the new installation.

Phase III - Implementation and Configuration
This is the roll-out portion of the project where all of the setup screens are processed, forms are changed, screens are modified, and the project is configured – all from the design and discovery already accomplished.

Phase IV – Training
Your employees are trained on the specific applications that they need training on.  Employees are either trained at your location or ours, but the most important part of this phase is focus, so whenever possible, we try to have a formal training environment.

Phase VI - Data Migration
If data migration was included and determined at the sales process, we now start to convert the data for the anticipation of "Go Live".  If it was not determined, we can still migrate the data at any stage of the project.

Phase VII - Development
Sometimes a system will require customizations, which can include new reports, form changes, application functionality changes, FRx financial statements, screen changes, or minor changes. At this phase, we take care of all of the known customizations that are needed.

Phase VIII – A Day in the Life
Every successful project requires testing with your data and your needs in mind.  At this phase, your company takes ACI through a “day in the life”.  We want you to break the system, provide exceptions, tell us more that we never knew – so when you do go live, there are no surprises.

Phase IX – Business Readiness Review
Your dedicated project manager comes to your location and interviews your employees. Are they ready to go live?  Do they know how to do their jobs? Do they need more training? Is there one person who simply does not understand?  Has there been employee turnover or business process changes?  We find the answers to these questions and more at this stage.

Phase X – Go Live!
The excitement of going live on a new system can be hectic and crazy, but with proper management and design, provides new optimism for exciting, new changes.  ACI is always on-site for however long it takes to be sure that your company knows how to utilize its new system.

Phase XI – Support
ACI is there to support you before, during, and after your project – period, the end.  With dedicated telephone support consultants and a team that is second to none, our average response time is one hour or less.
